Men's Bible Study - Pi Day

On Pi-Day, the Bethany Men's Bible Study completed our discussion of Joshua 1 - 4. The scriptures teach that the Bible stories are examples for us and we should learn from them. We enjoyed discussing what Joshua and Israel did, and then applying the lessons to Bethany and ourselves.

Joshua and Israel listened to God and were strong and courageous as they prepared and positioned themselves to follow God's direction. Sometimes God does not reveal the path into places we have never been, until we step into the water. God may provide help from the most unexpected people. As God provides miraculous help we should create memorials to remind ourselves of what He has done and pass on the stories of God's salvation from generation to generation.

Since we finished on Pie-Day, we had a drawing for homemade pies. Pastor Luther was 2nd runner up with a Pumpkin pie. Bray was first runner up with a Magnolia pie. Larry won the Pecan pie.

Men, join us next fall when we again study God's word together.

Tithes and Offerings

We are able to do the work the Lord has set for us because of the tithes and offerings people give to our church. Giving is a part of our worship to God. It is because of love that you give so we can share God's love, mercy, and healing to our community and beyond. Online giving is safe and secure. Thank you in advance for your gift.

Please remember that your financial support of the church is vital during this crisis.

Your faithful and generous giving is
